No one wants to wake up one day and realize that their favorite coat they have been wearing for the last three years was made out of dog and cat fur. That is not only horrible to imagine, but the thought that an innocent stray animal has been killed and skinned off its fur to be used for fashion purposes. Died because you wanted a coat to wear for those cold wintry nights.

There has been an on going problem where manufacturers have been selling fake fur that is actually made of animals. Animals such as cat, dog, or raccoon are being used as a substitute for fake fur. Therefore you are in search for a faux fur throw take the time to check the market to avoid getting coat that is not made out of innocent animals.

Yes, each have their own positive and negative points. But depending on what you are aiming for especially in terms of fashion and sustainable living. If you care about nature and its inhabitant then you should understand the difference between the real and fake furs for your own peace of mind.

Pile fabrics or fake coats were made to recreate the warmth and appearance of the pelt of an animal. But evidently it cannot match the same quality and think that a real pelt can offer. However on a positive note fakes can easily be dyed compared to the real ones plus they are also very inexpensive to the regular fashionistas.

But on the other hand pile fabrics are often made from chemicals that could harm the environment. Chemicals such as coal, limestone, water, petroleum, and air are often used. However pile is often composed of two important chemicals called acrylic and modacrylic and other mixture of polymers.

Faux are usually called pile fabrics because they are created with various polymer products that give off the impression of an animal pelt especially the appearance and warmth. However people who have a good eye knows that it is different, and could never really become real since the feel, touch, and quality is just different. Aside that most faux are of lower quality than the real one, but can still provide the same benefits of wearing a real version.

Faux are often made out of other materials such as polypropylene, rayon, cotton, cellulose, silk, mohair, and wool. To create the faux fur the chemicals are first mixed and hardened before is processed again through conveyer belts. When the liquid mixture has hardened and the acetone has dissolve the other particles then it can proceed to stage two.

These chemicals are mixed inside a large container that is made out of steel that is stainless. However there are other kinds of fabric being used too. Fabrics like cellulose, rayon, polypropylene, cotton, silk, wool, and mohair.

Producing quality faux is an intricate process that goes through several stages. Therefore buying good quality faux is not only important to avoid paying for fake fur made out of real animals. Hence it is very crucial to keep an eye out unscrupulous dealers trying to force you to buy their fur.
