If you check those playlists that teenagers have nowadays, for sure you would see pop, rock or hip-hop genres dominating on their playlists. From talented musicians like Bruno Mars to Taylor Swift, every human beings definitely are familiar with their songs. As a result, some cannot turn their eyes to classical genres since that is not the mainstream at the moment. Regardless with that, people must not ignore those classical musicians whether from ancient times or modern and at least, they must acknowledge these male classical opera singers.

Placido Domingo. You probably have known him because he was a member of the Three Tenors along with Luciano Pavarotti and Jose Carreras. But aside from that fact, Placido is born in Spain and his voice was spinto before it moved to dramatic tenor. His acts in Don Jose, Hoffman, Cavaradossi and Canio had made him very notable in his career. In addition, he gained many awards which also includes from Grammy.

Dmitri Hvorostovsky. Not only his striking looks will astound you but also baritone voice which made him worldwide famous. Dmitri is a Russian artist and his international debut started in 1989 for he won a competition and beat another famous opera singer. The Peoples magazine has also included him in the rankings of most beautiful people. He also made a collaboration with Renee Fleming in Eugene which became one of his best acts.

Jose Carreras. Another Spanish singer who also became notable in his career. Jose is very known for his acts in Verdi as well as Puccini. His operatic career began when he was still eleven and then as time went by, he achieved performing over sixty roles. Like Placido Domingo, he as well is part of Three Tenors.

Luciano Pavorotti. Luciano is one of the most successful operatic tenors of all time. He was an Italian artist who gained the title King of High Cs in twentieth century. He as well is part of Three Tenors and had helped in expanding the opera music throughout the world. He also had some collaborations with famous artists outside from this genre and received an award from Red Cross.

Andrea Bocelli. According to Celine Dion, if the Heavenly Father can speak to humans, his voice will be like Andrea Bocelli. No one can blame her from saying that because he indeed has a beautiful voice. Despite his blindness, he made a history in classical crossover music for becoming the biggest-selling singer.

Lawrence Brownlee. A young American singer who is now also making his name in this field. Lawrence had received acclaims with his tenor voice and acts as well as his activities with Met. He had also worked with Renee Fleming Armida and Elina Garanca in La Centerola.

Philippe Jaroussky. Philippe has a unique voice of countertenor which is quite rare for men. Some might raise their brow when hearing some mezzo soprano males but his voice is on another level because he perfected his technique. He has been doing some operas and his versatility has been cleared with his acts.

These men are certainly talented. They also helped in making this genre spread. Hopefully, another talented opera musician will emerge.
