However in recent times the number has risen.

Religion and sport have always been a good source of an active debate. Players get preoccupied with sports and forget the essence and need of religion and their spirituality. It is quite a common scenario to see a soccer player go down on his knees or say a little prayer after scoring a goal.

Antony Tolliver, Stephen Curry, and Jeremy Lin are some of the few NBA sportsmen who have really gone an extra mile in showing what religion and Christianity really means to their life both as players and believers. The three have set up the Active Faith Sports Company that is the leading company in the US in Christian sport apparels.

There are different types of these apparel produced by the company and include: Head bands, T-shirts, wrist bands and sweat pants.

The main consumers in this sense are the children, women and men. The diversity in their choices is minimal hence saving up on inventions pertaining the type of clothing to make on the side of the companies involved. This is true as the designs only target a specific set of consumers who are the youth in sports and love matters pertaining Christianity.

From the Christian scriptures, the movement transcend from the idea of separating the God-chosen ones form those who belong to the world.
