The opening should look lively. This means that one has to improve the appearance of the place by adding lots of decorations, even if it means that the decorations will just be used for a day. The decorations can range from balloons to ribbons and such. These decorations should help put a festive atmosphere in the shop.

They should also put up advertisements for their event. They have to advertise their event as much as possible so that there will be more and more people who will know about it. They have to make their event more visible to the people who have the highest probability of visiting the shop.

Banners and posters are quite helpful too. The most helpful ones are probably the fliers. They can make use of the fliers to advertise their event. They can simply hand it out to people who are passing by. They should do this a few times a day before their scheduled grand opening. They can inform a high number of people with this.

It should be fine to cut down on some prices for the clothes and other items that are sold in the store for the day. One can attribute the losses, if there is any, during this date as a part of one's marketing endeavors. Having more and more buyers buy from the Alpaca gifts and clothing store during the first day is the same as marketing.
