However, before these are done so, they need to ensure that the basics are known beforehand, especially with the proper violin hand posture, to be violin players. The following are the steps on how their left hands should be placed properly on the things.

If they observe proper postures for this undertaking, the beginners can avoid disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist pains, and others. These disorders could become worse if they continue to practice with the wrong hand placements. They may never be able to play the items, at all, for this matter.

To begin, the enthusiast should be holding this thing with his left hand. Most string instruments are typically using the left hand. His thumb must be about an inch from the nut and he should be slightly bending it. There must be an open space between the tip of his thumb and the tip of his index finger. In this manner, he will be shifting smoothly through various positions. If he will be clenching his thumb to his index, he will be feeling tension on his wrist.

It is advisable for these musicians to cut their fingernails short. This way, they can strike the strings with the tips of their fingers. While they perform, they should curve all their fingers. They should also align their thumbs with their first fingers when they play chords above the nuts. Most importantly, their wrists should be straight. They should not bend them.

The individual could be using a shoulder pad. The pad will help him in easing the burden of lifting the weight of the violin on his left shoulder. Apart from that, the pad will also be helping the person in keeping the item in nose level. The position will be allowing him in shifting through positions smoothly and acquiring a good tone projection.

When he will be performing while standing and will be reading a music sheet on a stand, the student should not be twisting his body to the left. He should be keeping his body straight and facing approximately eight inches to his left. He should only be moving his eyes through the page.

The strings should be looked down at by the students. The chins should be properly placed on those chin rests. The whole left side of the face should not be placed against those chin rests. This position is typically done by most virtuosos. However, beginners are discourage to have these positions followed. The correct postures should only be utilized by beginners.

When they have to perform while they sit, the same steps should still be remembered. As further note in the positions, their backs should be kept straight. This way, strains could be avoided on the body parts. During practice sessions, mirrors can be utilized to determine if these steps are followed properly.
